Pat Miller speaking on stage at the SBOC Conference

Educate and entertain your next audience.

I spent twenty-two years in radio before I owned a business. Now I talk to owners about the stuff nobody taught them: what to charge, how to put AI to work, and how to build the business they actually wanted. Every talk ends with homework your audience can do on Monday. I'm a TEDx speaker, and my second TEDx talk is October 17, 2026.

The talks

Keynote

Quit Charging Too Little

Most owners undervalue their own work. Raising your rates is a decision you make about yourself before it's a number on an invoice. This talk is about making that decision.

Training

Claude Training

A hands-on training that shows your audience how to install Claude in their business like a junior employee: connected to their tools and starting with the boring, repetitive work. Every owner gets the basics and a dynamic Q&A session, so no one leaves with questions unanswered.

Live workshop

The Idea Slam

This live, interactive workshop is the signature event I bring to the Small Business Owners Community. It turns a conference room into a community where we work together and solve each other's problems. It's fast, fun, and effective.

Life Is Too Short to Build Someone Else's Dream

This is my manifesto for the importance of building your own small business. You're allowed to want your own dream instead of spending your life building someone else's.

AI Is About Doing Less

Small business owners are struggling to install AI because they don't understand their workload and how to delegate it to AI. In this talk, I teach them how to think about the technology and how to get started automating their business. Your week is a deck of 52 cards: hand AI the twos first and fold one card at a time until only the work that matters is left.
